In this GRADskills workshop you will gain an understanding of the process for the submission of the聽library copy聽of the PhD聽thesis聽along with all the supportive information. We will聽discuss the timeline of the final library copy,聽highlighting the declarations and decisions you need to make including, embargo,聽acknowledgements聽and copyright.听听

This workshop will be delivered in the form of presentations and Q&A.聽Participants will be encouraged to contribute and ask questions.聽

Aims and objectives

By the end of this聽workshop聽you should be able to:聽

  • Understand the process for the submission of聽your library copy of your聽thesis, including registration for the 精东传媒 Research Repository
  • Understand rationale for requesting聽an embargo聽or a redaction聽on your聽thesis聽
  • Declare聽your聽acknowledgements听听
  • Understand common copyright issues聽and how to navigate them
