Approved AI software
The AI tools currently approved by the University are:
Gecko
For accessing information classified as public or internal.
Co-pilot (Education licence)
For AI productivity or task-support style applications, in line with security controls and information assurance requirements up to strictly confidential levels.
Co-pilot (Premium licence)
Automated searching and combination of information up to and including strictly confidential classification, in line with approved security controls and information assurance requirements.
Azure AI studio
AI services hosted within our Azure tenancy and integrated with our M365 environment, supporting the use of strictly confidential information subject to appropriate configuration, approval, and security controls. A variety of AI models can be requested.
On-premise AI
Where development of AI applications, very strict data management or other restrictions are required. Model training is an option on this platform.
