SGSD researchers awarded R&A grant
The Royal and Ancient Golf Club (R&A) have awarded a grant of 拢90,000 over 3 years for a project entitled: A Blue Carbon Audit of Coastal Golf Courses: New Opportunities for Climate and Coastal Change Mitigation and Adaptation.
The award comes from and is funded by the R&A through its Coastal Change Action Plan. The Coastal Change Action Plan was published in 2018 and Bill Austin contributed as part of the School鈥檚 Blue Carbon impact agenda. Grant funding includes a salary component for SGSD research fellow, Craig Smeaton. 鈥淔ore!鈥�
