Radio documentary on Maria Edgeworth
Dr Susan Manly from the School of English recently featured in a radio documentary on 19th century Irish writer Maria Edgeworth, which aired on Irish radio station RT脡 lyric fm, thanks to a grant from the University's .
Susan is writing a biography on Edgeworth, and the documentary is based on some of the discoveries she has made during her research for the book. It includes on-location recordings made in Edgeworthstown, the Irish Midlands town where Edgeworth lived for most of her life, and interviews with a range of experts on Edgeworth鈥檚 writing.
