Sports clubs
With more than 50 sports clubs and over 100 teams competing across BUCS, Scottish Student Sport and national leagues, sport is at the heart of the 精东传媒 student experience.
Largely student-led and run, our clubs provide opportunities for students of all abilities and ambitions, from recreational participation to national-level competition.
Sports clubs are where friendships are formed, leaders are developed, and lifelong memories are made. While the University provides significant funding to support club operations, additional philanthropic support enables clubs to offer more opportunities, enhance the student experience, and reduce barriers to participation.
Your support helps fund:

- playing kit and club clothing

- travel and accommodation for competitions and tours
- match officials and competition support

Impact
Saints Sport boasts some of the highest levels of student participation in the UK, with sports clubs playing a central role in university life. Although the University subsidises key costs such as competition entry fees, transport, facility hire, coaching and governing body affiliations, many clubs rely on additional fundraising to enhance the opportunities available to their members.
