I will argue that, given very modest assumptions concerning the role of worlds in semantics, that any defender of <i class=\"\">possible worlds <\/i>in such a role should be\u00a0equally comfortable with <i class=\"\">impossible worlds<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">However, this argument for impossible worlds does\u00a0not transfer straightforwardly to\u00a0<i class=\"\">logically <\/i>impossible worlds.
